mmm not sure

The ducks won! on a back wall where you don't really notice them!

Am I alone in not liking ducks on the wall???? My daughter bought these today for my hubby who for some unknown reason has always liked them when he has seen them in the shops, but I have always said no, uh uh they are not going on our wall. Well she bought them for four dollars (can't complain at that) at a local op shop and maybe he can put them in his shed, that way he will get to see the ducks flying and I won't have to!

  1. They are a bargain Jude! There not something I would want on my wall but there are plenty of people who do. I can't satisfy demand for good english complete sets.

  5. I'm with you Jude. I don't like them either!!
I think we used to think they were saggy when we were kids!
I imagine lots of young people like them nowadays.

  6. i remember ducks on the wall when i was a child ... haha .. and that was some years ago .. but i must admit when i do see them they bring back fond childhood memories .. kinda warm and fuzzy feelings ... haha .. there must be a wall somewhere ... maybe a spare space on one in the 'littlest room in the house' ... or down the dark end of the hallway .. haha ..

  7. mmm looks like I'm coming round, we have a room in the house next to the kitchen a sort of walk thru room really, it has our loely old dresser restored from my mum and das house. well maybe now the can go above this dresser! It's kind of a back wall - not really seen unless you stop and look, maybe this is a win win! keep you posted and will upload a pic for you all to see

  8. I'm feeling Dame Edna may be responsible for our aversion Jude.
She used to talk about her mooney ponds house with ducks on the wall
I used to have a frieze in a bathroom of wild ducks. The room was dark green and I loved it. Suited the house. Guess that's the question. Can you see ducks in your house? If not it may be Daves studio for these little quackers.

  10. They look just fine. I remember them from when I was little, so they look nostalgic to me.

  12. Hilda Ogden in Coronation Street had ducks on her wall, she thought they made some kind of statement, a well to do statement !! can't beat that.
A little brain teaser. 2 ducks before 2 ducks, 2 ducks behind 2 ducks, 2 ducks in the middle between 2 ducks, how many ducks ?
