It might be winter and some days wet and miserable, but isn't it nice to step outside and see pretty flowers like this camelia sasanqua, my hubby grew it from seed many years ago, it sits right outside our back door and brings color inside.
Sasanqua camelias - I especially like it when they have a wild, not-overly-pruned look about them. Here in Launceston camelias and jonquils are beginning to make an appearance, And the tiny violets outside my kitchen window:)
Lovely shade of pink and lovely to have it in winter.
Just got my netbook back from the computer shop, it was away for a week and I really missed it, they have made it so I can comment on your blogs, so fingers crossed.
camellias are such good value at this time of the year - colour, repeat flowers and tougher than you'd give them credit for.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful :)
