2011 is going to be a year for me of collecting chintz. The plate in this picture belonged to my Grandma who died when I was a baby (some 50 years ago) so it makes this little sandwich plate even more special, I did use it some years ago but sadly when I was washing it I hit the tap and broke a piece off it, as you can imagine this upset me, but my hubby rescued it and glued it back together - now it sits on display on my dresser. The little baby dish I bought at a local antique shop. I can't wait to add to my collection.Holidaying in N.Z.

chintz collection
